2024 Musician Workshops
In conjunction with the Songwriter Competition event, we will be holding several workshops focused on songwriting, music marketing, and how to build your career in the music industry. Our workshop speakers include 3 outstanding industry professionals who are sharing some profound insights from their own successful careers in the audio industry.
The workshops will be held on Saturday, November 2nd at 3:00pm, 4:00pm and at 5:00pm. The workshops are open to the public and are FREE. Each workshop will be held at a different time, and you are welcome to attend each workshop – they will be worth every minute!

Are you an aspiring or active songwriter? Are you interested in learning how you can improve your songwriting, build more impactful song arrangements, or are you simply interested in connecting with other local songwriters?
This Songwriting Workshop will help you to better understand songwriting and song arrangement from a fundamental level, and help you to refine your skills and improve your own songwriting! Back by popular demand, Rich Parkinson, a local songwriter, will be sharing artful insights to help songwriters improve the basics and propel their songwriting forward to a new level.

Ever find yourself in a creative slump? Do you occasionally find yourself with writer’s block, or find it difficult to motivate yourself to get creative?
In this workshop, Cherie Call will be sharing her top tips for flipping the creative switch and become more effective with your creative endeavors. With a key focus on songwriting, learn how you can stop waiting for inspiration, and instead pull inspiration and creativity whenever you want.
